Inside the Graveyard

These pictures show how dilapidated and forgotten the graveyard is. The centre of Woerden is -compared to cities - small however for some reasons the graveyard is hardly visible and goes fairly unnoticed. It is situated on which used to be a part of the town-walls, a Bastille (something like that). I suspect I know why they keep the area closed for public. The ground is 'soft' and some graves are 'sinking' into the ground. I realized that this was not the best place to be if something happens...

A row of graves of the 'elite'. Close to the entry, but they have the same fate and treatment like all the others, neglected and forgotten.

I like graveyards a lot. That sounds weird maybe, but like you said they are usualy peacefull and make you realize the world will go on no matter what after you've been here.
Thanks for your encouring words today and as i live close by todays church, i know exactly what student dorm you mean!
It's a small world.

Graves for the elite, e?
Every where, the same.(Former) rich buried in the front. But still, buried.
