Nice! Great capture!
When you casually mention a date in the 1500s, it's amzing to us American "colonists" how very recent we are on the scene. Although Tampa was fist discovered by the Spanish in the 16th century, absolutely nothing of that time remains on the west coast of Florida. Really nothing until the mid-19th century and that's rare. Our home, built in 1929, is in a "National Historic District." That is why we love to travel and visit your country and others with such a long, rich history. Tampa is gorgeous, but relative to Amsterdam, everything is brand new.
That tower is just magnificent! I also like the angle of this shot.
