Old Shop
Sometimes you encounter shops that make you wonder; how can they survive? This is one, a shoe shop in Dordrecht.. Looking at the front and the goods in the shop window, it's almost like a time warp of 50 years...
You are right, Marcel.... I am also wandering how could they survive... Just my guess: the older and the more unique the goods (i.e. shoes in the pics)the more expensive they are
:P
Great article!(btw, thanks for your kind comment on my blog!)
I like old shops like this, Marcel. I agree they are probably more expensive than the large chain stores, but here you are dealing with the owner and the service is personal.

We used to have shops like this when I was growing up, but they are all gone now!
I think this kind of business we can find in all cities even in the big cities!
Cool post!
Have a nice week dear Marcel!
God bless you!

Small town America still has many shops like this. And small town people (like me) still shop there!
Hello from EAGAN, Minnesota. Fun shoe pictures - grannies need to buy shoes, too, right?
