The watertower on Eastern City Moat is for sale. The muncipality is looking for a suitable function for this distinct monument. The tower is part of the silouet of Woerden. It is build in 1906, by desing of engineer of J. Schotel.

Nice shot! Welcome to the DP community, it's great to see another Dutch town represented. I worked in Woerden for a summer back in 2002, but I only went into town once or twice so I look forward to finding out more about it.

That's a great looking water tower! Now you've got me wondering what it could be good for. Maybe an art gallery? You'll tell us if it ever gets transformed, right? ;)
