Lucky birds

Introducing to you: my desktop friends at work! They are called orange lucky birds…

Made for the E.K. but since we lost nobody is interested in having them anymore. That was my chance! 

The big one is holding my rings which I take off during the day. 

Fascinating

I noticed this interesting gate a few days ago. It looks like a new gate, well kept, but.... in front of the entrance is a big old tree, it would even not be possible to open the gate.. Fascinating, I wonder what the story is of this gate. The tree must be a 150 years old so the gate must have been deliberately situated in front of the tree...

All helping hands

Timon, the son of a friend helped us building up chairs and tables for a meeting. He was able to lift a set of chairs higher then him, well done!

This dog looks nice and dumb, but it actually almost bit me when I tried to make a picture of him..

Hidden Chapel

In The Hague I passed by a building which first had my interest because it was a historical building. I noticed that the door was open and it appeared to be a chapel. Inside was this beautiful very large icon of the mother of God with child. I light a candle and pondered for a while about all kinds of things. I was struck by it's beauty.

Beetle

I saw an old Beetle today. My first car was a Beetle. Unfortunately these cars rust away soo easily in Holland due to the wet weather. So I just drove it for a year... I was a student so I couldn't afford al the work which needed to be done every other month...

Hairy back

Now that's what I call a hairy back, I don't know if a wax will really be of help LOL. I saw this in a hotel in Amsterdam. I don't think it's human...

Brothers

Went last weekend to Brothers in Bunnik, I had a blast and danced all night, I loved it. There was no other option than dancing, the music was so loud a conversation was simply impossible..
