It's really a lovely time of the year.

During a party at a friend we made a small boat trip on the canal of Woerden. I saw the town from a different angle.. This is a shot of the Castle and Catholic Church.

Mary Chapel

The Bonaventura church has a Mary chapel where you can go to pray. It is open at day time, the rest of the church is shut of by a big iron gate.

Bonavatura Church (1892)

Dedicated to St Bonaventura (Giovanni die Fidanza 1221-1274, Fransiscan Church Teacher) this Church was the first Catholic church build in Woerden after the 'liberation' of the Catholics/ Catholic faith in The Netherlands.
The church is a big three-aisled cruciform basilica in neo-Gothic style. The church is a dominent feature of Woerden's skyline.
