Living in an old town can be lovely. The historic houses, scenes and the presence of the past everywhere around you. However in the past people used to be much smaller; notable at these stairs in a restaurant, the sign is a necessity.

An apropriate name for this establishment.

Nice house

This wonderful house I spotted while making a strawl down town. It must be great to live in such a house. This type of houses were built around 1890-1910. I guess that is called the 'Belle Epoch'?

Old farm

An old farm on the road to Bodegraven. In Holland are a lot of 'hidden' farmers neighbourhoods. Meaning there are several roads and paths to a town or city going through rural areas. Sometimes it looks like time stood still.

House

Cool house located at the shore of the old Rheine. For American standard this house might not seem so special but for Dutch standards it is a huge and probably very expensive house.
