This blog is from Holland.. :) Somebody put out the flag yesterday. I wonder why, it is not a national flag day, nor the birthday of somebody from the Royal house (then an orange bannar should be attached to it)...
I guess he or she just felt he had to do it...

Miep Gies (February 15, 1909 – January 11, 2010) was one of the Dutch citizens who hid Anne Frank, her family and several family friends in an attic annex above Anne's father's place of business from the Nazis during World War II. She discovered and preserved Anne Frank's diary after the Franks were arrested.
Nice to see the beautiful Dutch flag and the wonderful architecture together in your photo!
